This is the title I make my work under & what you will see on each piece as opposed to my name. It represents the duality of everything in this realm we inhabit. I am what I create & it, in turn, is me.
REDIVIDER
I am primarily a ceramic artist. I find it the most satisfying material to work with. The process of sculpting and molding a piece to then be able to make as many variations of that one perfect sculpt as possible is one of the greatest things to experience. Pushing the boundaries of what clay and glaze can do is the name of the game.
I am mostly influenced by the science fiction and fantasy genres. I also heavily draw from the bio-mechanical & bio-organic art styles as the intricacy and detail in these styles is unmatched.
THE WORK
My name is Angel Crespo. I’m currently located in Georgia. I’ve been making things for as long as I can remember! Whether it was building with Lego or customizing action figures I have always had a project. I have a degree in sculpture with a secondary focus in ceramics & have been lucky enough to be making art full time since 2020.
